PASSWORD POLICY

Before opening an account, we need to determine that you are an instructor affiliated with an educational institution. We typically look to faculty listings on websites of universities, colleges, or secondary educational institutions to authenticate you. In the form below, you will see a spot for you to provide an address for a specific web page (not a general school home page) that will help us to determine your eligibility.

We do not accept commercial email addresses from providers like yahoo, aol, hotmail, verizon.net, comcast.net, etc., but require an institutional (school) email address.

There are three steps to the password application process.

  1. Fill out the application below and submit.
  2. You will receive an autoreply to which you must respond. If you do not, we will not know that you applied.
    NOTE: If you do not receive this auto reply message within an hour, it means that your school website is blocking us, and we will never know you applied. Therefore, if you do not receive the autoreply, please notify us at nccsts@buffalo.edu.
  3. We will review and verify every application. If approved, you will receive another autoreply email. If declined, you will receive an email requesting further information.
